I have a 83 245 with 250k, man., tranny. I'm thinking of towing another car about 300 miles (boston to montreal). I was going to use a dolly tower. Presuming that my hitch is up to it, does anyone think my tranny will destroy itself? My engine? My fluids will all be changed prior to this trip, and I'll be using 20w-50 (oil pressure is starting to drop). So what do you think? Feel free to chime in, there hasn't been much action on the board for two days now. Ciao, patrick.
p.s. I have worked this wagon hard, and it seems to appreciate the work.
