random stalling (B230f) 200 1985

Do you have any idea if it's spark or fuel that fails?

Candidates include the fuel pump relay (resolder it), the big mutha 25-amp fuse under the hood (clean 'n grease it), and an intermittent Hall effect sensor in the distributor.

You could also check (tighten) the female connectors in the harness socket at the ignition module and all the fuse clips in the fuse box.

The engine harness deserves consideration as well. It may be turning (returning) to dust before your eyes. Handle it gently, particularly where it meets the chassis harness at the big gray plug near the firewall. The insulation may be crumbling and falling off, allowing conductors to short together. (I temporarirly fixed mine using "liquid tape," from Radio Shack.)
