dash dumby light 200 1982

Hello All, The dash dumby light that tells you that you have a burned out bulb somewhere comes on when you turn on the headlights in low beam position. When switching to high beam it goes out. I have checked everything single light and they are working fine. I have thought of putting a little piece of tape over the light so it doesn't shine in my face at night. Any ideas????

Thanks for the help with the radio ground problem. THe Radio is working prefect.
