Volvo stalling : ( 200 1991

Hi everyone,

I have a 91' volvo 240. Sometimes when I start it, the engine will run a few seconds then immediatly die. Most of the time, it starts right up, however it does seem to hesitate a lot coming from a complete stop. Its like I put my foot on the gas, the car rolls forward slowly, then about 1-2 secods later the power suddenly picks up. I have recently had problems with the air mass meter, but that was cured after I cleaned the contacts on the connector. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.
