Update: electronic ignition troubles 140-160 1972

Thanks for the update. Maybe I should call them too, since I yanked mine out after getting the opposite of what you had, smooth strong accelleration, but uneven idle and stalling when warm. Now that I'm back to points the car idles smooth again, but I miss the slightly stronger pickup it had with the electronic ignition.

BTW, when you installed yours, did the magnet ring still sit 1/3 lower than the ignition module? Mine did (even without the spacer) and I think the rotor, which mounts on top of the magent ring sat a few mm too high which gave it an incorrect connection with the cap. What type of distributor are you using?
