245 rear wheel bearings---need advice 200

"82" 245 Wagon, real sweety, 275K plus, odometer died in 92 with 157K; I replaced outer rear wheel bearings in 97 do to loud vib noise, replaced bearings again in 99, again due to noise; they are noisy again in 01. I've been using aftermarket bearings (Yates) with no installation problems. I understand axle is dry...so what's my problem or better yet the solution?
