Is there a valve before core and where? 900 1993

Thanks for good advise! I still have a question though: in all non ACC heater systems there is a valve regulating how much fluid flows thru the heater core. I just wonder if there is such a thing in the ACC system and where that thing hides. In several of my previous cars it has been this guy being the culprit when leaks have ocurred from under dash. So I just wonder if there is such a valve here too and whether it sits just close to or inside the heater assembly box, and whether a leak from this guy would lead to same symptom as leak from heater core. Anyone knows?
