Help! Oil still leaking! 900 1997

Help! Oil began leaking at 80K on my 97' 965. Dealer out of town said it needed rear main seal ($600) and flame trap box reseal including new intake gasket set ($510). When I got back home, I had my mechanic look at it and he replaced the rear main seal, flame trap, o-ring and a CB4 plate? (all for $400).

Not more than one week later, I notice it leaking again. My mechanic had serious personal problems and can no longer work on it. I am frightened to take it to just anyone and the dealer close to me; I can not trust. I took it to an import place here in town and told me I needed a whole new transmission seal set for $1,000 (it is leaking oil! not tranny fluid).

Can anyone give me any idea of what it might be so that I do not get taken. Or can you tell me where to find a good mechanic in Huntsville, AL.

Thanks!!!!
