testing fuel pressure regulator

I do know for a fact that one of the failure modes of teh FPR is no fuel out the back, forcing high fuel pressure and rich condition. This was corrected by a new regulator. I think that is your problem. I have the 214 on an older car and the 294 on the 90 B230FT. I also have a 293 from an 89 240. Not sure what the differeces are but it cant hurt to try. I would plan on getting the right number though.
