Thinking of moving up to a 1998 S70 from a 85 DL 200

Just seeking some guidance on what I should be looking for when shopping for a newer Volvo.

I have an 85 DL which was my first Volvo. With 202,000 miles I am pretty happy with her, but due to pressure from the wife, I am going to move to something newer. I am looking at a 1998 S70 with 77K miles, the local dealer is asking 12,995 for it.

My questions are:
Are these 5 cyl engines as reliable?
Should I look for anything specific with the mileage at that year?
Does it sound like a fair price?
And any other info you experts may think is important.

Thanks for all the support from the Brickboard!
