'check engine' light with no symptoms...problem? 200 1993

I recently had a AMM failure which resulted in (among other things) a check engine light on my 90 240.

After installing a new AMM, I disconnected the negative battery terminal for 30 seconds, reconnected it and cleared the error codes by pressing the button twice for more than 5 seconds. I then got a 1-1-1 error code (which means no errors) and the light was off.
