Is this a NZ-new vehicle? If so, that mileage could be OK. If it was imported second hand by the agents, they would have had access to vehicle history in Japan or Singapore. I'm sure they don't import used crud.

Do you live near Auckland? If so, I can put you in contact with a Volvo technician who could give a fairly accurate opinion of the vehicle's present mileage and vehicle service history (if done by offical agents)

Re parts availability, if Scandinavian Motors (Akl) don't have the part you require on hand, they can get it air couriered from Australia within a day
