Increased Headroom 700 1990

I've received a Service Bulletin that outlines the replacement of the driver's side seat cushion with (what I assume is) a thinner version that provides "...15-20 mm..." more headroom than the production version. The Parts Required section has the following entry, "Seat frame P/N 1373672-3 (764 '88 and '89 M/Y driver seat only)". Are they saying that only seat frames from '88 and '89 (mid year?) 764s require the new seat frame, and that my '90 can use the existing seat frame? Has anyone made this conversion? Thanks!!
