242 LHD to RHD conversion 200 1986

I don't know if anyone here has converted a brick from left to right hand drive, but I'm sure you guys will be able to offer some advice. I live in the UK and would like to have a 242 like the ones I have seen in the US, something that I just can't seem to find over here, except the old Bertone with the lowered black vinyl roof whichI'm not dead keen on.

So with a UK 244 donor car, would there be any major problems with converting a 242, imported from the US, to right hand drive? I'm particularly worried about the firewall / bulkhead. Are there any other structural parts that might be different?

The cost of this project has yet to be weighed up against other ideas, but any input you could give me would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Jamie.B
