Oil in the Air filter?

I,m sure you all have noticed that I am posting questions very regularly. I am trying to get ready for a big trip and basicly going over many parts of my 240. When looking at my air filter to check for it's cleanliness I found that there is a good amount of oil on it and in it's housing. I think that I have read somewhere that this is not normal. Could someone give me there opinion? Also I am looking for the fuel presure regulator. I know that its somewhere around the top of the air filter housing, around the lines leading to the injectors.

I'M SORRY IT'S A 1983 240 TURBO.
