weak spark 200 1988

Help. I have just taken out the old radio in my son's 1988 245. Replaced the original casette player. I have three wires that do not appear to attach to anything. They are orange, grey and red. According the wiring diagram I have the red is for the power antenna. But the other two are unknown. For some unknown reason the car will not start, I smell fuel so I checked out the spark and got no spark at plugs, or out of coil, temporarily installed another coil and the spark is weak intermittant yellow (from coil wire to ground) Still no spark from sparkplug wire to ground. There is power to both sides of coil when I put black meter lead to ground. All fuses appear good and am now stuck Any ideas of what to try next. Car was running prior to radio replacement.
Thanks
