WHY WON'T THIS THING START??? 700 1989

Hi John,
This motor is a B230F (I assume), and looks EXACTLY like the one I replaced it with. Interesting you should mention the ring around the flywheel though. I almost broke that wire removing the old engine. Fortunately, the new one had a good one.
All I can figure from your responses, is that I've got the cam timing a tooth off or something. I don't see any other answer, although I would have bet money otherwise. I'll take another look.
By the way, just how do you check the voltage in the injectors? I've got a multimeter, so just plug it into one of them while cranking the engine? What should it read?
You're correct in your evaluation of my name. Tomaapilot = Tom AA Pilot
I'm a Super 80 Captain for American Airlines.

Thanks for the response!

Tom :o)
