WHY WON'T THIS THING START??? 700 1989

Yes, a voltmeter will check the injectors. 12 volts when cranking, and when running.

If the used engine you bought came from a car with LH 2.2 Jetronic, you are going to have troubles until you change the coolant temperature sensor. Once more, what year car did the used engine come from?

Also check the wire harness connectors going to the coolant temperature sensor and the knock sensor. These connectors are identical and if you exchange them, the car will run poorly, if at all. The cable going to the knock sensor connector. Coolant temperature sensor wires are gray and black.
