Installing a door, any advice?

Bruce -- I replaced all 4 doors on my '83 245 (rust problems), and there really aren't any tricks that I discovered. It's pretty straightforward. It helps to have someone hold the thing up for you while you tighten the bolts. Here it is four years later, and I think it's time to adjust the two on the driver's side -- they're leaning in a tad too much at the top. So... you can't go too far wrong, and even if you don't get the alignment absolutely correct, you can still live with things for 4 years...

Are you going to be splicing wires? If so, cut the wires as long as possible to give you some flexibility when you solder them back together.
