on 91 turbos you dont have to let idle before shutting down right? 700

hey on my turbo ive never been told to let it idle after running. someone said mine is watercooled and i could go race the car all day and when i park just turn it off. mine is watercooled right? it is a 91 740. the person who had it before me said he used to let it idle thinking it was oil cooled. but a mechanic told me that volvos dont have oil cooled turbos in 91 but he said too that he wasnt sure because he deals mainly in toyota and honda.
should i let it idle?
thanks,
rocky
