Overdrive/Dash Light? 700 1987

Here's a quick question. My overdrive will kick in & out at highway speeds, especially on hills. If it's the relay, would the OD dash light go on and off also.? Mine does not.

Other than that she's running great, after my harness/ FPR trek.
