V90 Hitch S90-V90

Janusz,

I had a hitch on my now-gone V90. I paid about $120 for the hitch installed and wired. It was a Drawtite hitch, and it worked great. I found a wide range of prices, from about $120 to 170 for this hitch, so I'd recommend calling a variety of hitch places. This is an attractive hitch for the V90 because if the receiver was not installed, it is almost impossible to see the hitch under the car.

Also, be aware that there is an issue with the wiring of the car. You risk damage to the electrical system of the car if you wire the trailer directly to the taillights. There's a device that needs to be installed that provides additional power to light the trailer, preventing the excessive draw to the car taillights. The hitch installer should be able to explain this to you.

Happy moving!

Mark
