Bent control arm bushing holders 200 1993

Bricksters:
Just finished replacing most of the suspension bushings under my 93 245. Some I could not get off with tools available to me. I got off most and replaced them..now for the burning question: There were times when Iused the 6 ton press and bent the "ears" that hold the bushings inward and then used a hammer to beat them back out straight again. Then I installed in a new bushing. Did I do any permanent damage to the trailing arms, control arms, etc?
Seems the metal parts are pretty robust and can take this type of bendings. What say you, O Volvo Gurus???
