door problems 200

Jim,

Do you mean from inside you couldn't open the door when pulling back on the release on the door panel? If so try pulling up on the door lock while pulling the release back. If it opens then you have a problem with a small circular spring that holds the door lock up ... if this breaks or falls out the lock linkage drops down and prevents the from door opening ... affecting both the inside release and outside door handle. The spring is small and when I had a this problem with my 245 ... I had to pull the panels on both front doors and compare the working side to the malfunctioning side to diagnose and repair it. A new spring and no more locked/in locked out problems.
