Hall Effect sensor wires? 700 1988

I just bought a used distributor (dirt cheap) for my '88 745T and the wires from the Hall sensor had been yanked out of the plastic connector that snaps on the housing. Does anyone know how the wires match up to the 3 positions on the plastic connector? On my old dist. it looks like the red wire on the rt. side connects to the +, the orange wire to the 0, and the wire on the left (blk?)to the -. Does that sound right? (everything's pretty oily, so it's hard to be certain about the wire colors)Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
mark
