Spark Plug Gapping 700

As far as I know, the correct gap is .028 inch (.7 mm). Some knowledgeable people think NGK is best, Bosch second best, copper either way. But then I found listed NGK BP7ES (or BPR7ES) for the turbo engine and NGK BP6ES (or BPR6ES) for the NA engine at IPD, and BP6ES (or BPR6ES) for both turbo and NA engines at FCGroton. I asked at Brickboard and Paul Seminara helped me. He told me I could choose either BP6ES (hotter) or BP7ES (colder) for the turbo engine. He thought the hotter plug gave him a bit smoother idle and the colder plug worked better with boost. I went to Western Auto and found they list NGK BPR5ES for the turbo engine. I bought NGK BPR6ES because I am doing many short trips around town with the car. I have not put them in yet because I checked the Bosch WR7DP (platinum) I have in the car and they looked OK. I gapped and put them in myself. Oh yes, I have found the gap makes a difference in smoothness. Best regards.
