Is it possible to turbocharge a 91? 200 1991

Driving my wifes 740 Turbo caused me to go out and buy my own Volvo. I bought a 1991 240. It's just a little to slow for me. I want to be able to murge with traffic with plenty of room to spare. I've been looking at IPD (www.ipdusa.com) and they have a couple of things that look promising (cam, exhaust, suspension) but nothing that's going to get the get up and go that I'm looking for. A turbo charger would seem to work the best.

Is this a common mod? Are the engines the same as the 740? Is there a better way to get the performance I'm looking for?

Thanks for any help you can pass along,

Dr. Steve
