Update: electronic ignition troubles 140-160 1972

Sorry for not replying sooner, I have not been able to check the board lately. I did notice that I had to press the magnet down firmly to get it to set low enough to get the rotor to sit properly. I had to jiggle it to make sure the squarish internal of the magnet mated properly with the distributor post. I am using the stock Bosch distributor. The car is still running smoothly and I am happy with the switch.
