front seat backs are slanted 200 1991

I have a 1991 240 wagon. Both front seats have a bent seatback, causing you to sit at a bit of an angle. On the drivers seat your right shoulder sits further back, on the passenger seat your left shoulder would sit further back. I've tried bending the seatbacks into place, but they don't stay that way for long. Is there an adjustment that can be made once the seats are out of the car? Any input would be appreciated. I should mention that a weight issue can be ruled out, at least for me, I don't know about the previous owner(s).

Thanks!
