Gnarly indicator problem and poor idle. 200

Hi Boarders,

As you may remember, I was having problems with my hazards not working - the relay made a buzzing noise but nowt was happening. Fosterization seemingly cured this and all was well for about a week but now i'm finding the indicators intermittently blink way too quick as if a bulb was out (all bulbs ok). It seems most likely to happen when the car is "cold" and seems to clear once i've covered a few miles.

Also, i'm still having idling problems. Sometimes it's fine and at other times it struggles to idle at 3 or 4 hundred rpm. The idles solenoid works fine, there are no air/vacuum leaks and fuels system cleaner seems to have hade no effect. Remember, i've got the Pierburg carb on mine so perhaps some Canadian boarders can shed light on this. I've got the bits to do a Ford/Weber carb conversion but i'm loathe to carry his out until i'm certain what this problem is for feear of making things worse.

Thanks in advance,

Big Rich.
