Need instructions on main seal, tranny seal, and clutch 200 1983

I have an 83 240 and an oil leak on the main seal. 2 days ago I found not only the small leak from the main seal but now a large pile of tranny fluid on the ground. I have a 4 speed stick w. overdrive. I am told that when doing the main seal that you might as well change out the clutch. AS for the tranny fluid I assume it is a tranny seal causing this. What I need to know is what are my major steps in getting to the main seal. remove drive shaft, un mounting the tranny, bell housing etc. I am looking for the main steps in order and any possible problems I might face. My independent Volvo shop wants $700 for this job and I simply don't have the money. Let me know what you all think... Also do you have any recomendations on a clutch, what kind and where to get. Web site or something. thanks, Doug...
