Pet/Cargo Barrier - differences between model years 200 1993

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the Volvo pet/cargo barrier kits specified for different model years? There is one specified for 75-88, one for 89-91, and one for 92-93. The barrier kit would consist of the barrier grate, and lower and upper mounting points. On the one I've seen, the upper ones mount to the bolt hole behind the headliner where the 3rd-row seatbelts would mount, and the lower ones (2) mount to the rear seatback where the stays for the 3rd-row seatback would mount - it looks like the same part. I found a pre-88 model and it would be really nice if it would fit in my '93!
