740 foam/leather on a 240 front seat frame 200

hello all, I found a perfect pair of black 740 front leather seats in the junkyard. I know they wont bolt up on my 240 sedan because the floor bolts are different. I dont want to deal with welding and fabrication either.

Question: if I pull out the leather upholstery and foam from the 740 front seats and put them on my 240 front seat frame --- will it fit? has anyone tried it?

I just dont want the nice leather to go to waste and its black too. at the same time dont want to buy it just to find out they wont fit. unless someone wants me to pull it for him and buy it from me.
