sun roof maintance and oil lamp

Hello everyone, I need your help again please.

I was wondering if there is any special care required for a manual crank sunroof on a 1980 Volvo DL. The sunroof will open just fine, but it puts up a good fight when i need it closed. It makes a terrible grinding noise when i try closing it.

In addition to that the oil light will come on periodically will I'm driving down the middle of the road. The cars Manual says it may come on when I'm done driving at high speeds, but it comes on well I'm going about 30-40 MPH.
