Help diagnosing engine code 200

I would find a person with an 89-93 240 or 740 non-turbo that runs well and swap the AMM and ECU into your car. You will instantly know then if you have a problem with those. Unfortunately it could well be one of those components. 89 is the worst year for Volvo ECUs.I bet one or the other will fix it up. I would not let a shop or dealer sell either without proving it is the fix. The good news is the you can buy both components (worst case) used but good for $200.
