Tires. Different sizes on stock rims (sedan) 200 1987

Hi All,

I will be replacing my tires very soon on my '87.
I became aware that the stock size is 185/70/R14, though the previous owner had installed 195/70/R14s on it.

My research has since shown me that my speedo and odo is now reading slightly less than actual speed/mileage,
but I have grown fond of the "look" of the 195's.
I would like to replace these with 195/65/R14s, closer in diameter to the originals.

Has anyone any experience/stories/words of warning to make me think otherwise?

I was thinking of the Michelin X-One. Any thoughts on those?

Thanks. This is my first question to the board/group,
I'll probably have more when the rain stops and I feel like tinkering.

regards,
Mark
