John, good catch. As noted in the FAQ, ground maintenance should be a regular event: clean the ground planes all around the car (especially behind the fenders!), de-oxidize them for good conductivity, then reinstall the wiring with OxGard conductive grease (Home Depot electrical dept.) to keep corrosion from interfering with the grounds. Bad grounds can cause all sorts of weird and tough-to-diagnose problems.
