240 Speakers, one mo' time 200

Hi Smitty,

I put a Pioneer cd player in my 240 DL, replaced the front speakers with a set of Rockford Fosgates that fit into the stock cut-outs. I was also able to use the original grilles. Then I went a little crazy and mounted a pair of Blaupunkt 6x9s in the rear deck. I had to cut some metal, but it's worth it. The result? - that baby cranks. I'm going to design and build custom door panels for the front doors to accomodate a pair of 6x9's in the next six months or so. I bought all my gear from www.crutchfield and am very happy with the results. Good Luck
