'90 780.. Searching for my fusible link. Help ! 700 1990

It sounds as if you shorted the battery connector to connector or plus connector to chassis with a BIG spark. This will not blow fuses or damage anything upstream from the battery but would only damage the battery or the cables.
From your description you are not getting full 12V from the battery to critical circuits. This does not indicate a blown fuse but rather a bad battery or connection You may have fried an already weak battery or you may have have burned the negative cable through or its connection may be bad.
I think you should clean both battery connections, check condition of battery and the cables.
If you have a meter or test light the problem will be real easy to diagnose by looking at the voltage level at the battery and moving along the cables from there.
What was the original problem which you were trying to fix?
