front 760 bearings 700 1987

I am replacing the front wheel bearings on my 1987 760 wagon. The inner bearing
has a small(?) amount of play, and the car made a humming sound abovbe 40mph except when I turned. I have a separate hub and disc/rotor. The inner bearing says
A52K-L66J49 SKF GERMANY
Are there any unusual tips I should know?
