knock knock, does the cam want out?? 700

theoreticly the valves should be adjusted every 30,000 miles, but that never really happens...i had one noisy lifter when i got the car so i adjusted the valves....after the valve job, i had a leaky valve cover gasket, so out of curiosity, i checked the clearance, and they are slightly tight...the noise is a tap tap tap noise that changes with rpm, and fades above 1500 RPM, but if u know what your hearing, you can tell if its a lifter or not...i have a noisy lifter, but they are all new along with the cam...and thats my problem.
