BW-35 to M-41 swap hang-up 140-160 1968

Old Guard 140 boys, hung up on bw-35-M-41 swap.

I have swapped engines and put in the m-41 in place of the BW-35. I have two m-41's and one m-40 and the original BW 35, and numerous drive shafts. I figured I had enough parts to make the drive shaft hook up one way or another, not the case. The two m-41's have different size drive hubs and shafts and one is coarse splines and the other is fine, and the M-40 shaft is also fine and different size also. I'm thinking I might have to take two hubs to the machine shop and chop and weld to get what I need unless someone has a nicer helpful hint. The automatic and the M-41 measure the same length, but it doesn't appear that the auto-trans rear cross-support member wants to bolt up without some torch alterations.I did get the clutch brake assembly installed, appears Volvo thought we were going to hook up our trailers there, something like l6 bolts holding that puppy in place. Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this project.
