Stalling 700

Hi "D",

Stalls when braking, eh? Have a look at the check valve in the vacuum line to the manifold from the brake servo. If this is faulty it will allow excess air into the inlet manifold when you apply the brakes, thus causing momentary lean running and stalling. This is probably mounted either in the servo end of the hose or on the servo itself in the "socket" where the hose plugs in. It's unlikely to be broken but they can get gummed up. A good clean in petrol/WD40/beer/your favourite solvent should clean it up.
