to tell if your turbo is good or not, look at your boost gauge. if it's not going into full boost then thay may be the problem, although their are 1000 other things it could be. white smoke is oil, black is fuel, if it's black it may be running a bit rich, although this is normal, but if your throwing up a misqueto net then you probably have more problems than that..... if it is fuel, it's probably in on the ignition side, if it's oil then it may be in the engine it's self.. to hard to tell from this veague of an explination.
