144 inhibitor switch 140-160 1974

I took a look at my Chilton's manual, too. It discusses adjusting the swithch on 1970-72s and then skips to 1976. I think they just didn't edit the text to say 1970-74 and 1975 240 (because 1975 used same engine as 1974, I would expect transmissions stayed the same). Anyway, the adjustment instructions are the same as Haynes except for stating that for 1972 models, remove the shift lever from the transmission. I'm just reading the manual, never done the job so I don't know how necessary that is but probably an access issue. Like I say, I've never done this so it is pretty much a blind leading the blind thing.
