antenna fuse blown 700 1986

The #5 fuse occasionally blew in my wagon. I know it has to do with some antenna problem. In the past I replaced the fuse without any incident. Now, when I tried to put in the 15 volt/amp/whatever it fizzles immediatley and with this series a chime sounds until the blown fuse is replaced. How do I disconnect this chime or fix the problem? My volvo mechanic won't be back in town for a week and I can't drive with that " BING BING BING" chime for much longer!!
