Bad Synthetics and oil changes

I get my Mobil 1 at Walmart on sale. Individual stores are given some pricing flexibility, so while our local store charges $4.24, a store not far away is at $3.28. In addition, they have a twice yearly sale of five quart jug put-ups that go for around $18, or $3.60 per quart. I buy enough to last the entire year. For obvious reasons the 5-30 goes first, so you have to be quick. These prices are less than the local Mobil distributor charges.

Mobil 1 0w-30 will also be marked down around the end of February: I bought all the stock in one Walmart for $3 per quart, and KMart had it last August of all times for $3.24. Although since their bankruptcy KMart has not restocked Mobil.
