Engine wiring harness: how tough DIY? 200 1984

I did my 740T in about an hour and a half. I had a friend help me and he brought his 745T over.

It's really not necessary to remove the intake manifold but you can if you want. Start at the firewall and lay the new cable out where the old one goes. Remove and replace connector to connector. The injectors all fire at the same time so the order is not important. The temp sensors and other connectors can be confusing, but take your time and check the wire colors as you go. You might also want to disconnect the battery negative cable to reduct the chance of shorts at the alternator and starter.

Good luck.
