can find where to connect a connector 200 1978

um... while i was working on the car the idea i found a connector that wasn't connected to anything. on the firewal there are a bunch of wires bundled together that have a connector on the end and they meet another connector in the center of the firewall. now, before they meet this connector, there is a wire with a red connector that strays off near where the speedometer cable comes through the firewall. on my car there is nothing connected to this and i cant see anything nearby that it can connects to.

also, i have a few vacuum lines that aren't connected and im a little concerned about them. does anyone know of any diagrams i can get a hold of? i'll look in the car tomorrow so maybe i can explain which ones aren't connected, but its pouring rain right now. ill post them tomorrow or something.
