Yup! That a whacky one

The fuel pump running at 12V 14V 10V whatever has plenty of reserve, it is capable of an instant pressure rise to over 80PSI from the normal 35 or so. Through the fuel pressure regulator most of the fuel pumped is bypassed back to the tank. It is more than capaple of maintaining fuel rail pressure under any conditions. Measure it!
